Retainer: Your retainer is based on regular email communication and occasional telephone communication. This is how we keep our prices affordable. Your retainer does not have an hourly rate tied to it because we do not have requirements to replenish your retainer. If we were to bill at an hourly rate it would be $125.00 for Attorney Yochum and $175.00 for Attorney Dickquist.
Communication: You can expect a reply to your email the same business day. After 4:30, you will receive a response the next day. If you leave a message for a call back, you will be scheduled for a phone appointment.
Phone Calls: Our retainers contemplate occasional 30 minute phone calls. Should you request an hour or longer for a phone call or should you run over your allotted 30 minutes, you will be charged the hourly rates listed above.
Payments: Full retain is due within 90 days of retaining JD Law, LLC. 50% of the retainer is due with return of the retainer. The remaining balance can be paid in payments over time.
Income: Modifications to the above payment information may be okayed by the managing attorney if a W2 or 6 paystubs is provided.
Withdrawal of Representation: In accordance with the Rules of Professional Conduct, should a client not pay their retainer within the allotted time and not discuss other options with the managing attorney, a Motion to Withdraw may be filed with the Court.
Change of Information: Should a client have a change in personal information, the client should notify our office within two (2) days.
Attorney Assignments: Each case will be assigned to one attorney. While that is the rule, there will be situations where another attorney at the firm may call, email, or fill in for a Court date. Please be aware that all attorneys will be prepped and have a full understanding of each case before attending.
